I'm a Dutch father/husband with a creative mind.
When I was younger, I used to draw and paint a lot. When the digital camera came, I started to photograph odd things. Looking at things in a different way, in a different perspective.
I used to rollerblade a lot. Went to Paris Rollers a couple of times and did the 24 hours of LeMans on Rollerblades. With this hobby/sport I discovered Lomography (although it wasn't called Lomo than). While rollerblading, taking pictures of other rollerbladers and the surrounding area. Because of the action, the photo's weren't always sharp and straight.
A few years later I saw a beach cruiser bicycle for the first time. I wanted one, but the specs (just 3 gears, coaster break) weren't spectacular. So I decided to make my own. The first one I made was a chopper bicycle, made from a 20" kids mountainbike and an adult bike. After a couple of years I decided to make my first plywood bicycle. (Pictures in my gallery).
I've recently made a bicycle trailer for our little 2 1/2 year old daughter. I might post some pictures later, when I have the time to take them.
What I like in other people's deviations is the creativity and the ability to take the picture in the right place, on the right time, with the right settings of the camera.
I wish you enjoy my deviations. Feel free to ask questions, give suggestions and ofcourse add to your favorites. Have fun.
